I have very strong feelings about banana bread and I believe that it should be served with a healthy amount of chocolate chips and if you don’t believe that then we can’t be friends. #sorrynotsorry With they being said check out this quick and easy banana bread recipe below!
Ingredients:
- 3 medium sized ripe bananas
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup of melted butter plus more for pan
- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Steps:
- Pre heat oven to 350F
- Mash bananas in bowl and then add egg and mix together
- Add all dry ingredients and stir together until mixed well
- Stir in vanilla
- Add chocolate chips and stir gently until all chips are combined
- Grease 13 x 9 loaf pan and add banana bread to pan
- Bake for 35 mins or until toothpick comes out clean
- Cool for at least 15 minutes
- Slice and eat
